FAQs
Program Overview
What is the Positively Diverse Leadership (PDL) Coach Training Program?
The PDL Coach Training Program is a Level 1 (ACC) and Level 2 (PCC) pathway designed to teach you how to coach with confidence, authenticity, and inclusion. Built on PPCaDI’s evidence-based methodology, PDL blends positive psychology, strengths-based leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to prepare you for real-world coaching that transforms lives and organizations.
What makes PDL different from other coach training programs?
Most coach training programs teach you “how” to coach. PDL also teaches you “why and for whom.” Our unique blend of positive psychology and DEI ensures you graduate not just as a coach, but as a transformative leader who can create space for all voices to thrive.
Who is this program designed for?
PDL is for aspiring coaches, established professionals, leaders, HR/DEI practitioners, and anyone in the helping professions who want to gain world-class coaching skills while centering inclusion, belonging, and positive leadership.
What are the benefits of coach training with PPCaDI?
Our program equips leaders and practitioners with the tools to coach through a strengths-based, positively diverse lens. Participants learn how to create spaces of trust, accountability, and empowerment while building the skills required for ICF credentialing. Beyond certification, our graduates consistently report greater confidence, stronger leadership presence, and the ability to influence positive change in their organizations and communities.
Accreditation & Certification
Is the program accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF)?
The PDL program is currently pending ICF accreditation approval. This means we have submitted our program to ICF, and it is under review. Once approved, you’ll be able to count your training hours toward your ICF credential (ACC or PCC).
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes! Upon completion, you’ll receive a PDL Certificate of Completion, which you can use for your ICF application once accreditation is finalized.
Do certifications expire?
Yes. Like all ICF credentials, you’ll need to complete continuing education to maintain your credential.
Do I need paid clients to earn coaching hours?
No. During the program, your practice hours can be completed with unpaid clients. Paid coaching hours are only required when applying directly to ICF for credentialing.
Can I upgrade from ACC to PCC later?
Yes! You may begin with the ACC (Level 1) program and later upgrade to PCC (Level 2) by completing the additional training requirements and tuition difference.
Curriculum & Format
What will I learn in the program?
You’ll learn how to:
- Apply positive psychology principles to coaching conversations
- Use strengths-based leadership tools to support clients
- Build inclusive coaching practices that honor identity, values, and belonging
- Partner with clients to create meaningful goals, transformation, and measurable outcomes
- Meet the ICF Core Competencies while developing your authentic coaching style
How long is the program?
The program runs for 6 months and includes live virtual training sessions, practice coaching labs, and asynchronous learning assignments.
What is the format of the training?
The program is primarily live virtual sessions (via Zoom), making it accessible no matter where you are. You’ll also engage in practice coaching, mentor coaching, and small group work to ensure you develop real skills—not just theory.
How many people are in a cohort?
Cohorts typically include 15–20 participants. This size allows for strong interaction and relationship building while ensuring each participant gets personalized support.
What if I miss a session?
Attendance is key for certification. If you miss a session, you’ll need to make it up by attending the same session with another cohort to stay current. This ensures you don’t miss critical training hours required by ICF.
Eligibility & Enrollment
Do I need prior coaching experience?
No! Whether you’re brand new to coaching or already practicing, this program meets you where you are. You’ll graduate with a complete skill set and a clear path toward ICF certification.
How do I apply or join the waitlist?
You can join our waitlist to be the first to know when applications open. Spaces are limited, and priority goes to those on the waitlist.
Payment & Policies
What are the payment options?
We offer structured payment plans for both levels:
Level 1 (ACC Pathway)
- Initial payment due upon acceptance: $2,995
- Month 2: $2,000
- Month 3: $2,000
Level 2 (PCC Pathway)

- Month 2: $2,500
- Month 3: $2,500

After 14 days, refunds are not available, but you may defer your enrollment to a future cohort. Refunds are processed within 30 days. If PPCaDI cancels or reschedules a class, registered students will receive a full refund.
